‘Mistakes’ aren’t curses; they’re literally the story of every person’s life. Why do we even want to do things perfectly? This is my dilemma. It has been my unfinished deal for years and I’m sure it has been yours too, hasn’t it? Well, I would say that imperfect is my version of perfect. The truth is we mustn’t try to look for mistakes within accomplishments because they won’t be visible, like smudged paint in a surreal painting. They actually make our journey of success look even bolder and stronger than ever before. The word ‘mistake’ can be harsh but the act itself only teaches you more as you go further. They’re just an itsy-bitsy sting of reality in a crazy world.
Mishaps happen and when they do we must learn to embrace them and not overdo things. In my eyes, they always unleash something unexpected. They open new chapters in an unwritten book. Mistakes are often underestimated and feared but who knows what they might bring? Sometimes the wrong turns lead you to the right path and that’s destiny. However, the human conscience doesn’t seem to accept this as it is but when it does, that’s where the real adventure begins. Whenever people make mistakes they only think about its consequences but never what it taught them and that’s the biggest flaw. I just want the readers to remember that whenever they make mistakes they must only recall the good times and how the trivial turn of events are the ones that brought you where you are right now, perfect in your own way. I don’t want to write a famous person’s quote about learning from mistakes just to inspire, because I know that whoever is reading this can infer their own meaning, rising like a finesse and someone who believes in themselves a little more because whatever may be, but mistakes are the occasions which symbolise our uniqueness among all. The only thing that matters is that no matter how many you seem to make, realising their effect and coming back stronger to prove yourself is what truly makes you ‘You’. Mistakes don’t define, they are always part of something bigger. The importance of learning from them is only going to make you more enlightened but not weaker. Every mistake proves something to you about yourself and how you can improve; this must only be seen as a building block. Instead it is being seen as failure and that’s the real failure. When you realise the importance of learning from your mistakes, it strengthens you to not only prove to yourself that you achieved but also that you overcame the biggest misconceptions and this is VICTORY.
