“Learn from your mistakes!” sounds boring, doesn’t it? Well, let us take a deep breath, pause for a while and reflect upon this theory. This enormous theory may seem impractical for few, ordinary to many and even the most overrated one you come across after witnessing a failure. Mistakes can be an inevitable part of our lives but the way we react towards it makes a huge difference, in this case, mistakes do not give you brain triggers or traumatic vibes instead your mindset has the capability to do such things, to either break you or just shape you into the best version of yourself, consider your mistakes as seeds which when glanced seem to be dry, lifeless but have the full potential of growing into a new and healthy plant. Let me make my metaphor even more apparent and practical by providing two valid cases:
Case 1:
You set your goals, various strategies to achieve them, visualize them every single day but lack consistency, focus and discipline (the ones which matter the most) and expect results to be as you’ve envisioned them to be; successful and happy. This kind of system obviously provides you the most miserable and awful outcome ever possible and then you either blame the circumstances or your fate which has led to this undesirable result. Blaming the things which are totally illogical is the worst thing you could ever do in your teenage or any point of life.
Case 2:
You set your goals, plan the roadmap and work hard every day but that doesn’t either mean that you are perfect and don’t commit mistakes at all, of course there are mistakes and flaws you have to work upon and in this case, you analyze each and every single mistake you’ve made, improvise gradually but consistently on them and correct yourself by tracking your progress can be the underrated but it is quite effective and the most practical thing you could do during your incredible journey; Learn from your mistakes and never repeat them again.
Consider your mistakes as seeds, sow them in the soil and nurture with the provision of appropriate amount of water, sunlight and optimum temperature, which in general is basically your stage of improvisation; that include tracking your progress, learning from your mistakes and maintaining consistency of the thing you work upon.
NOW, the ball is in your court, to take an action, analyze your mistakes, work on them, get back on track and make the most massive comeback of your life. In conclusion, learning from your mistakes can seem dreary but it is effective, worthy and a stepping stone towards your goal.
